The PhD thesis deals with the treatment and the recycling of different residues from the copper industry. A special focus lies on the fayalite slag that derives from the electric furnace in the primary copper sector. In order to keep guaranteeing a marketable product in the future, process adaptions have to be investigated and developed. Here, thermodynamic aspects as well as kinetics represent the core approach.
