The development of leaching technology is one of the promising fields at the copper production in the future. The first important steps to reach optimum condition for the leaching process are the characterisation and the thermal behaviour study of the dominant minerals. The significant parameters to win the metals in the chloride leaching process are the acidity and the oxidation reduction potential. Through these studies the key factors for the successful hydrometallurgy process can be obtained.
