The objective of this thesis comprises the development of an integrated recycling concept for coated carbide cutting tools, which enables ecological, economical as well as strategical process optimizations. The reconditioning of cemented carbides represents a particular challenge based on the excellent properties of this material group. A wide range of recycling methods is available in this field, which still require a significant need for research and development with regard to introduced impurities.
