The reuse of copper-bearing materials is of major importance. In the different scraps (e.g. printed circuit boards), precious metals are also contained, making it necessary to develop corresponding recycling processes. Due to sustainable aspects and increasing environmental requirements, it is essential to lower the off-gas emissions. As a result of specific investigations with some of the different copper scraps, it is possible to measure the emissions and optimize the process.
